Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies
A deliciously rich, chewy, homemade chocolate chip cookie.
- Prep Time: about 20 minutes
- Cook Time: approx. 12 minutes
- Total Time: about 35 minutes
- Yield: about 2 1/2 dozen cookies 1x
- Category: dessert
2 sticks (1 cup) of salted butter, softened
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of malted milk powder
1/2 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
When the dough is created, add the chocolate chips.
Next, use a spatula or wooden spoon to fold the chocolate chips into the dough. Mix them in well to get them evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until just set and golden. When they are ready, remove them from the oven and immediately remove them from the cookie sheet and onto a rack or sheet of aluminum foil in the counter to cool. Don’t let them sit on the hot cookie sheet or they’ll continue to cook and you’ll lose that amazing chewy texture.
Enjoy these cookies as soon as you can handle them! 🙂

Do you like the new recipe format?
This is the first post I’ve created using WordPress Tasty Recipes and I think I’m in love! The recipe is created right here on my WordPress dashboard. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and printable if you want to print the recipe. No more creating both a jpg and printable pdf file for a recipe in Canva, downloading them to my laptop and then uploading them to WordPress!!
HOT TIP: You don’t have to be a blogger to love Canva. It’s a free online design program that has templates for everything from resumes to Instagram stories. I use it for creating my pins. Canva has free images you can use or you can upload your own images. It’s great for both business and personal use. And it’s really easy to learn. I’m not affiliated with Canva, I just really like it and thought you might like it too. 🙂
